About Us

Welcome to Wilson Pontoons, Inc.

The Best Idea Since The Indian Canoe.

Wilson Pontoons facility

Since October 1997.

Wilson Pontoons, Inc. began in October 1997 distributing dock floats and 23-inch diameter pontoons. We now mold 24-inch and 36-inch diameter pontoon modules covering most common marine applications: pontoon boats, houseboats, barges, floating platforms, docks, dredges and floating houses.

Call us at (419) 675-0002 or email info@wilsonpontoons.com so we can help you select the right diameter and size for your application.

Replacement & Retrofit

Replace leaking steel or aluminum tubes — for good.

Wilson pontoons are the go-to replacement for boats whose old steel or aluminum tubes are leaking, and for adding a middle pontoon when extra weight has been added — larger engines, built-ins, generators, or accessories. One-piece rotomolded polyethylene means no welds to fail and no metal to corrode.

Made in the USA

Rotomolded and assembled domestically.

Won't rust or corrode

Polyethylene is inert to salt and brackish water.

Truly modular

Bow, middle, and stern modules bolt together in any length.

Manufacturing

How a Wilson pontoon is made.

01

Resin

Virgin, marine-grade polyethylene resin is loaded and color-matched.

02

Rotomold

Heated molds rotate biaxially to lay an even, heavy-wall shell.

03

Trim & test

Each module is trimmed, pressure-tested, and inspected for wall thickness.

04

Ship

Shipped from 900 Stow Street, Kent, OH in enclosed trailers/vans — never on open flatbeds — to all 50 states.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What diameters and lengths do you offer?

+

Three standard diameters: 23-inch 4-foot dock floats, 24-inch pontoons in 8-foot and 12-foot lengths, and 36-inch pontoons in 10-foot length.

Does Wilson build complete boats or supply hardware?

+

No. Wilson focuses on molded pontoon hulls. We don't build complete boats or supply mounting hardware/cross members — customers typically source those locally from a metal dealer.

Are the pontoons foam filled?

+

Yes — pontoons are foam filled by default unless you request otherwise.

Can they be used in salt water?

+

Yes. Rotomolded polyethylene is inert in fresh, salt, and brackish water — no rust, rot, or galvanic corrosion.

Where do you ship from and to?

+

Pontoons are molded in Kent, Ohio and shipped in enclosed trailers/vans to all 50 states.

How do I size a platform for my load?

+

Use the displacement chart on the Products page as a starting point, then call us at (419) 675-0002 — we'll help you select the right diameter and length for your application.

What we believe

Our values.

Build it to last

If it isn't going to outlive the dock it floats, we won't ship it.

Engineer the answer

Every quote starts with the load, the water, and the environment — not a SKU.

Stand behind the product

Real people answer the phone, and we back every pontoon we mold.
